How to obtain a lifestyle coaching license in Dubai?
The life coaching activity, better known as “Lifestyle Coaching,” can be carried out in the mainland or in a Free Zone. The choice of jurisdiction depends on the needs of your future activity.
However, regardless of the jurisdiction you choose, please note that a company with the Lifestyle Coaching activity is not permitted to carry out the following activities:
- sports
- fitness training
- dietary and nutrition advice
- any alternative or non-medical therapies or treatments
These activities are regulated by other authorities and require different permits.
The steps
Here are the main steps of the procedure:
Initial approval
Since 2020, operating a Lifestyle Coaching business in Dubai requires initial approval from DED. A physical office is also mandatory, with a minimum area of 20m2, to obtain the license.
Trade name
One of the crucial steps is registering the trade name with DED. This process is completed online, and our team can handle it.
Commercial lease signing (EJARI)
Once your name has been reserved and the necessary approvals obtained, we will assist you with signing your commercial lease, also known as EJARI.
Approval from the General Sports Authority
It is sufficient to submit the initial application and the trade name with copies of the passports, and we will receive approval.
Company registration:
Once all the steps above have been completed, one of the most important steps is registering your company with the registry. For this step, our team will assist you if you are physically present in the United Arab Emirates. Otherwise, it is also possible to sign remotely.
Once the articles of association have been signed, the commercial license is issued within 24 hours.
